Penang International Dragon Boat Festival 2009

Last weekend 23 MAY 2009, we went to Toh Soon Cafe, Campbell Street, 10100 Penang for our breakfast. There are 4 flavor of roti -> burnt to perfection with charcoal, or steamed ~ and 2 types of fillings, “yin yong”(kaya & butter) or home-made peanut butter. We just ordered 4 types of roti...mmm YUMMY YUMMY…..served with kopi ice.

After breakfast, we start our journey to Teluk Bahang Dam to watch the Penang International Dragon Boat Festival. But that day is Malaysia internal competition; the next day is for International. Too bad, my “weapon” is not good enough to capture the boat clearly. The boat look “small”….

Sonic Gear Apocalpyx A6

Finally I owned a Sonic Gear A6 speaker. Why this speaker so special? Actually this speaker is using vaccum tube which able to produce smooth and distinct audio. I tested with 蔡琴 ~恰似你的温柔....the sound is perfect..more warmer, separated compare with my Altec Lansing ATP3(modify).

Honestly, my ATP3 already modified a lot. Comparing original ATP3, the sound is clearer, the bass more solid..I will create another blog for how to modify ATP3, share out my experience to you all..

Move on to A6, I will open it up and try to modify if can. Don't worry, i will share out how to modify it...but is MOD AT YOUR OWN RISK..

RICOH 500G & NIKON P80

Few weeks back, I took out my father’s old classic camera... Ricoh 500G.. Wow...it really classic...it is using 35mm film and still function. Unfortunately, it cannot interchangeable the lens...it is fixed on the body…The camera become an antique already since digital camera come into market.

This is Nikon P80. It has long zoom up to 18X. It classified as semi-pro camera which allow user choose P, M, A, S mode. The function quite similar to SLR function, but the setting is limit and the lens is fixed on body. This camera is belongs to my sister and she uses it for snap shot on KENJI boy....

Last weekend, we went to Penang Argyll Road, to have our breakfast. What so special at Argyll Road??? The answer is famous Roti Canai. I found out that the roti telur is nice, the taste is great. the roti telur is rich of telur, you can see from figure above. " Beh tahan" liao.. Next week i plan to go...drop me call or SMS who wanna go...I can bring you go...

1st of May..Labour Day 2009

Public holiday=Jalan-day~ My target?? KL Convention Center for HOMEDEC 2009. I reached KL at about 10am. I parked the car at KLCC, and walked all d way to Convention Center.

Before that, we had to get one visitor pass before enter it. This is the 1st time I use my D90 to take some indoor photo. Here you go!!!

After visited HOMEDEC, we move on to our next station -> Sunway Pyramid. There was the fashion show going on, but unfortunately I didn’t manage to take any photo. It was too late for me to rush down to the centre court to snap shot some models. Too bad… too bad..Hehe…


After loitering for about 3 hours, we decided to go for “BAK KUT TEH” at Klang for our dinner. We went to the place which near to my friend house, Patrick. Tried both the dry bak kut the and d normal ones…the dry ones r really fantastic!! The food…yummy yummy!!!

Boxing Day …..Nikon D90

D90..
New “weapon”--- Nikon D90---. It features with 12MP CMOS sensor,11 focus points, live view…8GB memory card and most important is the 18-105mm VR Nikkor lens.

Based on the outlook, the camera is bulky compare with compact camera. But talking about performance, it is really great that can produce nice picture. One thing I like to do is take bokeh picture by focusing front object and blur at behind object or even I can do it vice versa. Hence, it creates two dimension of the appearance.
